Crow Moon Drum Journey Meditation with Joanne
Friday, March 2nd, 7:30-9pm**
The March full moon is the last full moon of the winter season! Known as the Crow Moon in Native American traditions, the cawing of crows signal the end of winter. Crows represent mystery, magic and intelligence.
Crows have the biggest brain-to-body ratio among all bird species. Evolved with a highly developed forebrain where intelligence is regulated, the anatomy of the crow brain is similar to humans. Crows have a complex language and despite having a remarkable voice range with different caws, they do not sing.
Join us for a drum journey meditation where we will tap into the intelligent magic of the Crow as we celebrate the thawing of winter. Develop your spiritual strength to create a life of magic in your everyday world!
The rhythm of the drum is an incredible tool in helping you achieve mental, emotional, physical and spiritual harmony. Research studies have shown that the particular way in which Joanne plays the drum has profoundly positive physiological effects on the systems of the body. An ancient approach used by medicine healers, this unique form of meditation also positively impacts the flow of your Chi (vital life force) by clearing blockages in your energy and restoring balance.
We make meditation easy! Everything you need for this incredible experience is provided: specialty reclining zero-gravity chairs and luxurious blankets in a sacred space that has been energetically and lovingly cleared and prepared just for you.

Please note: If you are prone to falling asleep and/or snoring, let us know so we can help position you to enter into and stay in a meditative state rather than falling asleep. This will allow you and everyone else the opportunity to have the most enjoyable meditative experience possible. We want you to get the most out of your meditation!
**Instruction for newcomers begins at 7pm. Doors close at 7:30pm to start the meditation.
